The Garden is Growing

The 2007 CSA Garden is well underway. The pea pods and radishes are up and the first bean poked through today. It's fun to see how excited everyone gets when the first little leaves of a new crop breaks through the soil. Life is good!
What is growing....broccoli, cabbage, kohlrabi, beans, radishes, celery, peas, onions, and potatoes.
Seeds being watched....beets, leeks, carrots, shell peas, winter and summer squashes, cantaloupe, watermelon, cucumbers, herbs, pumpkins, lettuces, and chinese cabbage.

We are excited, as always, about the growing season ahead of us. It's fun to look at the garden right now, mostly dirt, and know the potential it holds. It's just waiting for the right time to burst forth. All in good time....
